vs ₹2,400 paying per visit
Your client saves
₹480/mo
The reason they stay subscribed.
You keep per member
₹1,728/mo

These are your figures, worked through — not benchmarks, and not a forecast. The one number that decides whether a membership makes you money is visits per month: price against how often your regulars really come in, not how often you hope they will. Commission rates come from the live plan pricing.
Pricing a salon membership
How should I price a salon membership?
Start from what a regular already spends with you in a month — their average bill multiplied by how often they come — and take a discount off it. The discount is what they are buying; the predictability is what you are buying. Most salons land between 10% and 25%, but the number that decides whether it works is how often members actually visit, not the discount.
What happens if a member comes in more often than I expected?
That is the risk the break-even figure shows. Above that many visits a month, a member is costing you more than they paid. Either cap what the plan includes — a set number of visits rather than unlimited — or price it assuming your keenest clients, not your average ones.
Do memberships actually renew on their own?
Yes. Monthly and yearly plans charge on schedule without anyone collecting at the counter, and members can be given their own price on every service, so the plan keeps paying off rather than being a one-time discount.
Is the calculator accurate?
It is arithmetic on the numbers you type, plus the real commission rate for the plan you pick. It does not use industry benchmarks and it is not a forecast of how many members you will get — that part is your judgement about your own clients.
