What can trigger an automatic DM?+
A comment on your post, a reply to your story, or a DM containing a keyword. Keywords match by “contains” or exact, and leaving the list empty replies to everyone. Instagram doesn’t let apps react to a new follower — nobody can do that — so the follow gate asks for the follow instead.
Can it reply publicly to the comment too?+
Yes. On comment triggers you can post a public reply first, then send the DM — optionally with a link button.
How does it avoid spamming people?+
Built-in guards: once-per-user, skip-existing-conversation, daily send caps and business-hours-only sending, with every send logged.
What is Priority DM?+
A paid inbox where fans pay to message you and you reply within a window you set — 24 hours to a week. If the window is missed, the message is flagged so you can refund it.
What do I need to use Instagram Auto DM?+
