Yes. A comment on a Reel triggers an automation exactly like a comment on a post, and you can point an automation at one specific Reel.
Will it get my account flagged?
It uses Instagram’s official API through Instagram’s own login, and the guardrails are on by default: one DM per person, nobody you are already talking to, a randomised delay, business hours only, and a daily cap you set. Every send is logged as sent, skipped with a reason, or failed.
Can I move my automations over from ManyChat?
There is no importer for automations, so you rebuild them here — for most creators that is a handful of keyword rules and takes minutes. Keep the same keywords in your captions and nothing changes for your audience.
Can I collect emails and phone numbers?
Yes. Ask and they reply in the thread — no form, no extra tap, nothing to leave Instagram for. Throwaway addresses are turned away, and everything lands on a Leads tab you can export as a CSV.
Can I send images, videos or voice notes?
Not yet. Today a DM can be text, a card or a carousel, each with buttons. Media and voice DMs are on the roadmap.
