Home bakery FAQs
Is there a free plan for home bakers?
Yes. The Free plan is ₹0 a month for as long as you want it — not a trial. The shop, delivery settings, Instagram auto-replies and classes are all on it. It takes 10% of what you sell; paid plans from ₹499 a month cut that to 5%, 3% or nothing.
Can customers choose a delivery date or time?
Not as a date picker today. Many bakers state their lead time on each product (for example “order 2 days ahead”) and confirm the date with the customer after the order comes in.
Do you arrange delivery riders?
No. You choose collection, your own delivery or a courier — Tribearn takes the payment, the delivery fee and the order status, and emails the buyer a tracking number when you add one.
Can customers pay by UPI?
Yes. UPI, card and netbanking at checkout, settled to your bank account — no more checking payment screenshots.
Can I sell baking classes too?
Yes. Run online or in-person workshops with a seat limit, and reminders go out to everyone registered before the class.
Do I need GST?
Only if you are GST-registered — most home bakers starting out are under the threshold. When you are, GST invoicing is available from the Starter plan. Check with your accountant for what applies to you.
