How stamps, the counter QR and rewards actually work
Stamps
A scan is a request — the stamp is yours to give
Any QR on a counter can be photographed and scanned from home. So scanning yours never adds a stamp by itself: the customer asks for one, and you decide. Pick the way that suits your counter.
- You approve
- The request appears on your phone with the customer’s name and how many stamps they have. One tap approves it — and their card updates on their screen while they are still at the counter.
- Daily counter code
- Prefer no tapping? Customers enter a 4-digit code you show at the till. It changes every day, so yesterday’s photo is useless.
- Limits on every stamp
- Set a minimum gap between stamps and a daily cap. Even you can’t accidentally stamp the same customer twice in one visit.
- Every stamp on record
- Who got it, when and how. A mistake is voided, not deleted, so your log is never rewritten.

Print it once, never again
Your QR points to a short link that belongs to your stamp card, not to a page address. Change your reward, redesign the card or rename your page, and the standee on your counter keeps working.

From a full card to a free coffee
When the last stamp lands, the customer’s card shows a reward code. They show it at the counter, you type it in and mark it redeemed — and a fresh card starts on the spot.
- One code, used once
- Each reward gets its own code. Once redeemed it is marked used for good, so a screenshot can’t be cashed twice.
- Use-by date if you want one
- Give rewards a validity period and the customer sees the date on their card.
- Nothing lost between cards
- If a double stamp overfills the card, the extra carries into the next one.

Is the stamp card free?
Yes. Rewards is on every plan, including the Free plan, which is ₹0 a month for as long as you want it — not a trial, and nothing is switched off later.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR on your counter, enter their mobile number and an OTP, and the card opens in their browser. It is saved to their number, so it is there on their next visit and on a new phone.
Can someone photograph the QR and collect stamps from home?
Not on its own. Scanning only lets a customer request a stamp — you approve it, or they need today’s counter code. There is also a minimum gap between stamps and a daily limit, and every stamp is logged.
What about customers without a smartphone?
Type their mobile number on your Counter screen and the stamp lands on their card. They can open the card from any phone later.
Do I need to reprint the QR if I change my reward?
No. The QR points to a short link that never changes, so you can change the reward, redesign the card or rename your page and the printed QR keeps working.
Can my staff give stamps?
Today the Counter screen runs on the owner’s login — keep it open on the phone at your till and anyone at the counter can approve requests and redeem codes. Separate staff logins are on the way.
Does it send WhatsApp reminders like “one more visit for your free coffee”?
Not yet. Progress messages, win-back and birthday rewards are planned, but today the customer sees their progress on their card, not in a message. If reminders are the main thing you need, ask us first rather than assuming.
Does it connect to my billing or POS system?
No — it runs on its own, so it works with whatever billing you already use. You confirm the visit at the counter; nothing needs to be installed on your POS.
Is it only for cafés?
No. Any business with repeat visits can use it — restaurants, bakeries, salons, spas, nail studios, car washes, clinics. If a customer comes back, a stamp card gives them a reason to come back sooner.
