For Podcasters

Get paid by listeners, not just sponsors

A sponsor can leave after one season. A few hundred listeners paying ₹199 a month cannot all leave at once — and they are already listening.

In short

What is Tribearn for podcasters?

Tribearn is a podcast membership platform. Listeners pay a monthly membership for bonus content, a paid community and ticketed live shows, so your income comes from your audience rather than only from sponsors. The Free plan is ₹0 a month and takes 10% of each sale; Starter (₹499 a month), Growth (₹1,499) and Scale (₹3,999) lower that to 5%, 3% and nothing.

What you can sell

Listener income, without changing how you make the show

Sponsorship is lumpy, seasonal and decided by someone else. Listener support is the opposite — small, boring and dependable. The trick is giving people something specific to pay for rather than asking them to be generous.

Listener memberships

Tiers with something concrete behind each one.

  • Monthly and yearly tiers
  • Supporter and premium levels
  • Renews automatically
  • Member pricing on everything else

Bonus issues & extras

The things that make a tier worth paying for.

  • Members-only posts and drops
  • Written issues and show notes
  • Transcripts and research
  • Free preview to convert listeners

A paid listener community

The group chat, with a subscription in front of it.

  • Paid WhatsApp or Discord access
  • Members join themselves
  • Bundled into a tier
  • Members-only AMAs

Live shows & recordings

The format listeners pay the most for.

  • Ticketed live shows
  • Online recordings and AMAs
  • Capacity and ticket lists
  • Members-only or public

Paid questions

Charge for the answers you already give away.

  • Set a price per message
  • A reply-by deadline
  • Missed ones flagged to you
  • Guest and consulting enquiries

One link in every episode description

In detail

How listener memberships and the community work

Memberships

Giving people something to buy, not something to donate to

A tip jar converts badly because it asks for generosity. A membership converts because it sells something specific — the community, the bonus issue, early tickets. The money is the same; the ask is completely different.

Tiers that differ
A ₹199 supporter tier and a ₹399 tier with the community and bonus content, side by side.
Renews automatically
Monthly and yearly plans charge on schedule, so support does not depend on remembering.
Perks that attach
Community access, members-only content and early tickets can each be tied to a tier.
Member pricing elsewhere
Live show tickets and anything else you sell can be cheaper for members, automatically.

Community

The listener group, with a door on it

Most shows with an engaged audience end up with a WhatsApp or Discord group, run for free and administered by whoever has the time. Putting a subscription in front of it is usually the single fastest way a podcast starts earning from listeners.

Your group stays put
It remains on WhatsApp, Discord or Telegram — this is the paywall and the member list, not a new place to move to.
Members let themselves in
A paying listener gets a welcome note carrying your invite link, so joining needs nothing from you.
Or bundle it into a tier
Attach community access to a membership level and buyers are added automatically.
Joining is not automatic on Discord
Roles are not granted or removed for you yet — the invite link is delivered, the rest is manual.

Podcast monetization FAQs

Do I have to host my podcast here?

No, and you cannot — this does not host audio or generate an RSS feed. Your show stays with whatever host you already use and goes out to Spotify and Apple exactly as it does now. What this adds is the part your host does not do: memberships, a paid community, tickets and bonus content.

Can I give members an ad-free feed?

Not as a private podcast feed — there is no RSS generation here, so an ad-free feed in a member’s podcast app is not something this can produce. Shows using it tend to put the bonus material on the page itself and in the listener community instead. If a private feed is the perk you are counting on, this is not the tool for that part.

What actually makes people pay for a podcast?

Something specific rather than generosity. In practice the two that work are a listener community they want to be in, and access — early tickets, members-only AMAs, the occasional bonus issue. A tier with nothing concrete behind it converts badly no matter how good the show is.

Can I ticket a live show?

Yes — a live show or recording is an event with a date, a capacity and paid or free entry, and you can keep it members-only for a while before opening it up.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan is ₹0 a month for as long as you want it — not a trial, and nothing switched off after thirty days. It takes 10% of what you actually sell, so a month where you sell nothing costs you nothing. Paid plans start at ₹499 a month and cut that to 5%, 3%, or nothing at all.

How do I get paid?

Your audience pays at checkout by UPI, card or netbanking, and the money settles into your bank account. Nothing is held back as store credit and there is no separate payout tool to sign up for.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, from the Growth plan onwards — your page runs on your own domain with no Tribearn badge. On the free and Starter plans you get a shareable Tribearn link, which works the same way for payments.
